An exploratory visualization that connects fish species, habitats, and occurrence locations to help people discover marine biodiversity patterns with one connected interface.
Why this visualization?
This project turns static fish records into an explorable story: the globe highlights where species are observed, while the tank helps compare fish body forms and depth patterns. The goal is to make marine ecology easier to reason about for non-specialists and specialists alike.
Tip: start in the map panel, draw an area, then inspect species overlap in the tank.
